Ferlin Kearns announced his candidacy for Oklahoma Republican Party National Committeeman. The outgoing National Committeeman, Steve Curry, has decided to not seek re-election and is supporting Ferlin.
Kearns is a lifelong Republican activist, donor, and businessman. Over the last two decades, Ferlin has volunteered on numerous GOP committees and campaigns. Notably, Ferlin was a delegate to the Republican National Convention for President Trump and was one of his earliest supporters back in 2015 bringing him to the Oklahoma State Fair. Ferlin has backed numerous members of our federal or statewide GOP Delegation to include Congresswoman Stephanie Bice, Fmr. Congressman Steve Russell, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin, and Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell.
Ferlin enjoys simplifying complex problems on his world-famous white board at his office in Edmond and frequently goes live on Facebook tackling the issues we face.
“To be honest, I feel like I’m the most unqualified person to run for office,” Ferlin states, “but when Steve and others asked if I’d run, I thought about it, talked it over with my wife, and said yes. Not having a career in politics, I truly believe I offer a unique perspective to help lead our state party and I will always lead with integrity.”

Growing up, Ferlin (59) was taught the value of hard work, discipline, and conservative values. His dad owned an auto-repair and car sales business which inspired Ferlin to start his own car dealership nearly twenty-five years ago, Edmond’s Auto Source.
While running the business, Ferlin completed his accounting and finance undergraduate degree at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), and most recently, he earned his Master’s Degree of Finance from Harvard. He also has a background of working in construction prior to opening the car dealership.
He and his wife, Regina, have two grown sons, Brett and Curtis, who have both served in the United States Air Force. Brett is currently in active duty and has been on multiple deployments around the world. Curtis served a tour of duty in Saudi Arabi, returned home, and now operates his own trucking company.
Ferlin and Regina are active in their community, the OKGOP, and several other local non-profits.
